NPR story - Why near the White House?

In these times of administration-sponsored fear-mongering, I am chagrined
that a letterboxer chose a location near the White House for an NPR story.

Lucy,
Can't we keep the Democrat's and Republican's talking points out of
letterboxing?

I agree that mentioning the White House was a big mistake. The box
was not meant to be "near" it at all. It is blocks away in a park
dedicated to a famous radio war correspondent, Edward R. Murrow.
